Zoomba Nigeria Redefines Value-Based Marketing, Hosts Lanre Olushola and Dr. Ayo Abina.

Nigeria eCommerce technology company Zoomba Nigeria is redefining marketing with what she calls value-based marketing.

Hosting an event tagged #DoItWithZoomba to mark the 2020 customer service week, Zoomba Nigeria invited two guest Lanre Olusola and Dr. Ayo Abina to engage their customers on issues ranging from career growth, reputation building, personal financial management, planning and budgeting as well as wealth creation.

Lanre Olusola is acclaimed as Africa’s foremost Life Coach and Cognitive Behavioral Psychologist. He is the Chief Catalyst at the Olusola Lanre Coaching Academy (OLCA). Lanre put everyone on the edge of their seat with his lecture on “Planning and Budgeting Your Way to Wealth”.

An unconventional means marketing, Zoomba Nigeria has set the stakes high when it comes to value-based marketing. In a nation when many business make ambassadors out of every Big Brother Nigeria Winner, entertainers and the likes, a system of building her core customers through influencing their minds with free training from great intellectuals is commendable.

Dr. Ayo is the Chairman/CEO of AACS an international consulting firm that works out of Lagos, Dubai, and the Silicon Valley.

Dr Ayo Abina, who shared insights on how to build a strong career is an alumnus of the famed INSEAD Fontainebleau, France, and honoris cause doctorate in Economics from the Ekiti State University.

An experienced banker of more than 25yrs, he sits on the board of several public and private institutions, including the Lagos state security trust fund, and was Chairman of Cocoa Products Ile Oluji (CPIL).

It will cost a fortune to attend seminars where training on career growth will be taken by an executive director of a bank. That is exactly what Zoomba Nigeria did by inviting Dr. Ayo Abina to do through a zoom section.

Like one of the attendees noted, the section with Dr. Ayo was like a going to a business school.

When he spoke about how Nigerians who earn in naira should stop chasing the dollars by purchasing things from overseas and instead match the naira with local goods which cannot be affected by the dollar market he addressed issues of finance from the perspective of a spender. Noting that patronising local businesses helps you manage your finances and also strengthen the value of the naira.

This he said reaffirming that not everyone might do it but you standing out and doing it will be of personal benefit.

Another attendee Waleola Bello said the session was quite informative and enriching. I’m looking forward to joining tonight’s meeting. Thank you.
